Last year we launched our new TerryPlus-i airjet weaving machine. Döhler was the first Brazilian customer to order the TerryPlus-i. Ingo Döhler, Industrial Director, outlines his thoughts on the new TerryPlus-i: “We are very impressed by the stability and performance of the TerryPlus-i weaving machine. TerryPlus-i fulfills its promise of delivering top level pile quality, even at the highest speeds, and this allows us to offer a perfect terry fabric to our customers.”
The
company Döhler was founded in 1881 (which makes it almost 140 years old) by
Carl Gottlieb Döhler and it is still family owned. Some of the family members
are shown in the below picture: (from left to right) Lucas Döhler, Ingo Döhler,
and Anke Döhler Beck. This successful Brazilian company has more than 3,500
employees and it manufactures a wide range of articles for homes, fabrics for
the furniture and mattress industries, as well as corporate outfits and
solutions for hotels and hospitals.
Besides
Döhler, another nine Brazilian companies have also ordered our new
TerryPlus-i. We would like to thank them all for placing their trust
in the Picanol quality and service!
